Welcome to Introduction to Meditation! This post is meant to give you an overview of meditation, what it is, what it isn’t, why it’s important, and how you can start meditating right now. If you’re already an experienced meditator you may still glean some wisdom from the videos, but feel free to skip this post entirely if you are inclined.

Ok so now you understand what meditation is, why it’s important, and a basic relaxation technique but… how do you really meditate? Don’t worry… we got you covered! Read on!
HOW TO MEDITATE?
Watch these videos for some tips and tricks on how to begin meditating. Remember, however, that meditation is just like everything else. The more you practice it, the better you will get at it. It’s also a very personal experience. Don’t get discouraged if your mind wanders, or if you keep getting distracted by your cat, dog, goldfish, etc., or whatever else breaks your concentration. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t experience something you want to experience, or that someone else has experienced. That’s normal. Believe me, it will happen. Once you make a conscious effort to calm and still your mind it will do just about anything to fight and distract you. And your meditative journey, just like your spiritual journey, is a very personal one. Everyone will have different experiences. The key is to surrender yourself to them and give in to the experiences. Let go and trust in them.
Understand beforehand and know that failure is a normal part of the process. Just keep practicing and continue to set and reaffirm your intent to overcome your challenges. With time and practice, you will be able to shut out any distractions, including the ability to achieve a meditative state while fully awake and coherent to what is happening in the physical dimension at the same time.
Be patient, trust the process, practice daily, and don’t give up. These are the keys to successful meditation. Don’t get discouraged. Be patient. Practice daily, for repetition builds willpower. Willpower combined with intent and a strong emotional drive are what manifest your reality. Be clear on what you want to achieve. See yourself achieving it. But most importantly FEEL AS THOUGH YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED WHAT YOU ARE STRIVING TO ACHIEVE.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT…
DON’T ASK THE UNIVERSE, GOD, SPIRIT, WHATEVER YOU CALL IT…DON’T ASK FOR THE DIVINE TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING THAT YOU DON’T ALREADY HAVE. IF YOU WANT TO TRULY HARNESS THE POWERS OF MANIFESTATION, YOU MUST FEEL AS THOUGH YOU ALREADY HAVE WHAT YOU DESIRE.
As the saying goes…Dress for the job you want, not the job you have. The same principle applies to meditation and manifestation. Don’t ask for what you don’t have. Give thanks for what you already have, and give thanks for what you desire as if you have already received it. THIS IS KEY AND CANNOT BE STATED ENOUGH!
